old fashioned

In hopes to encourage more Singaporean Chinese to remember, appreciate and acknowledge the importance of their cultural roots and traditions, old-fashioned is a bridal brand story I came up with that fuses modern contemporary style with traditional wedding costumes.

Living in a modern and multicultural country like Singapore, everyone is greatly exposed and influenced by many different cultures from all over the world; causing our own cultural roots to be slowly diluted and forgotten. As we move forward in this progressive and fast-paced country, I believe that it is necessary to remember where we came from and what our families stand for.

With this east-meets-west concept, I went on to do a campaign photoshoot for this brand too, to promote this fusion culture.
