alabaster ivory
this evening gown designed and made by me was heavily inspired by a pattern-cutting technique called the subtraction-cutting method by Julian Roberts.

i explored into soft delicate fabrics that is not commonly used in this technique as i was curious as to how different the outcome would be. i also played with the transparency of the fabrics though it was much harder to execute, but i really loved the way the fabrics layers over one another and how it drapes so beautifully and lightly.
thanks to the elegant colour palette of white, it brought out the purity, light and goodness of this dress.
